The girls got to meet Santa at the library a few nights ago and Jenna was pretty clear about what she wants from Jolly ol' St. Nick (and he looks pretty authentic, right? Almost had me fooled). She didn't want to talk to directly to him but had Daddy relay the message that she wants a princess vacuum, Barbie stickers and lipstick.
Look closely at Jenna. Notice the cow leg warmers? On her arms?

She also got to make a "project," as she called it and assembled Rudolph's face all by herself. We're pretty excited about the upcoming holiday festivities, specifically when Grandma & Grandpa Brooks arrive on the 20th! PARTY. And food. We will have lots of food. While at the dinner table the other night, I asked Jake what wintry type activities we could do with Jenna since this will be our first
real winter. "Ya know, like build a snowman." And he said, "Yeah or go sledding." Then Jenna pipes up with her own, better idea. "Or.... we could get married in the temple." Jake tells her it's a great idea! That we should just drive right down there. "Yeah!" she said, "Maybe we could do dat tomorrow!" More chattered followed but I lost her in translation after her description of a "sparkery" pink dress and tights.
